Raffey Cassidy who portrays Athena in the film Tomorrowland had this to say about working on the set with George.

You have worked with some great actors. Did George Clooney play any of his famous pranks on you?
He did keep reminding my set tutor that it was time for school, which he thought was really funny (and so did I – sort of) but otherwise I got away lightly. I did witness a lot of pranks so being on set with him was always a lot of fun.

Amal sighted leaving the Clooney’s London home this Monday dressed top to bottom in a Stella McCartney ribbed knit top and skirt, and shoes too!  It looks like another trip as she’s pulling along her luggage.

Sonning’s A-list celebrity couple have seen their controversial application to install security cameras on tall poles around their property approved.

South Oxfordshire District Council has approved George Clooney and his wife Amal’s plans to erect eight wooden poles with CCTV cameras attached around their £5 million property in Sonning Eye, and fix 10 cameras to the Grade II listed building.

The couple’s initial application was met with with objections from Eye and Dunsden Parish Council and reportedly upset several local residents.

But their planning agent, Paul Butt, submitted an amended application on Monday, July 13, which planned to reduce the height of the two tallest CCTV support posts.

The council’s decision notice, dated Monday, August 3, states that the amended proposals were accepted because they “would not be detrimental to the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building or its setting.”

The council has put conditions on the listed building permission, stating it must be carried out within three years of the date of consent.
